Even in the present climate many companies are trying to rip people off. Always best to shop around as loyalty is a thing of the past.
My motorhome insurance is due so after 3 happy years with Comfort I thought a look at the competition may be rewarding.
After contacting several so called friendly suppliers I was amazed at the price variations.
Eventually I'm staying with Comfort. The worst bandits were Safeguard who came in over £300 dearer.

I have been with Comfort more years than I remember!Always found them fair and never had undue price hikes so never bother shopping around. Can’t say that with my car!!Always shoots up!I have to go through ringing up and saying I don’t wish to renew.Nearly always come down but it really annoys me!

Been with Comfort for 12 years always competitive. Had my money's worth had a claim for £1k 8 years ago premium didn't even go up the following year and a couple of months ago a new windscreen that was about £3k.
I did get a quote from AIB this year same Aviva policy only £10 cheaper not worth the hassle of changing.

I think the Aviva policy would offer cover including things that Comfort would not?

I realised that myself as soon as I posted it!!

I’ve kept mine with AIB this year. £8 increase on renewal. Wasn’t worth shopping around I like the helpful friendly people on the end of the phone with no hard sell.

We used to be with Aviva via MHFacts until the 10% discount disappeared (which was actually still via Comfort) then with Comfort. Have shopped around but Comfort have always been cheapest for us.

We've happily been with Comfort for a number of years, finding them to be fair, flexible, and without annual premium hikes............until we changed from the Hymer to the N&B Flair last December. The hike in premium was just too much to swallow, and they weren't willing to negotiate/compromise, so we went back to the NFU who were very reasonably priced. 👍

Cheers,

Jock. 🙂

I’d been with comfort for around 5-6yrs but when I got a quote on another van they were £200 more then any one else..🤔
And they still had money on account from my older policy 🙁

I have used Adrian Flux for meany years. They were very helpful when I tried to insure a modified Landrover.
As yet I havnt had to make a claim but I havnt heard of anyone having a problem.
Managements Polo was insured through work so when she finished work she had to find her own insurance. Adrian Flux were the cheapest quote because we used them for the van.

My car insurance was with Aviva. Last month I asked the bloke with the curly moustache how much? I saved £90 and he paid my £250 excess. Oh by the way I didn't have to bother getting proof of NCB as the new policy is with Aviva.
