Looks like a little Nissan dealership but they also have a large fleet of lorry and bus breakdown trucks that they regularly have to MOT.

But make sure you specify that the MOT test should be Class 4 which is appropriate to all Motor Caravans, regardless of weight, and not Class 7.

Worth ringing Ray Goudy in Stowmarket (30 mins down A14). https://www.rgtr.co.uk/

They do motorhome MOT's whilst you wait (in my case at least) and I was reccomended them by my normal mechanic as the one of few places actually able to do large vehicles around Suffolk for a class 4 MOT. In my case it was have the vehicle with them at start of day (7am) and they'll be done for 7:30.

I was very satisfied with their MOT price and ability to do whilst I waited early one morning. Their main business is trailers, so their pit is able to handle full HGV sizes beyond a normal 3.5 ton.

If you don't have any luck try your council website.
If they MOT their own vehicles they are obliged to provide the service to the general public.
plus of course, they don't do repairs so no need to fail for possible work

Hi Jock. Just to let you know we had a very good experience at Intercounty Truck & Van, Peterborough very recently regarding our 1st MOT. Easy access and very friendly waiting room and great cup of tea provided. 😜👍

Yes I agree... however lots of us would appear to be mot'd as a 7 not 4...( myself included ).
Does it REALLY make any differance if you are mot'd as a 7??

One difference it does make is Class7 centres sometimes do NOT have a licence to test Class4.

Yes.. I meant more of driving a vehicle classed as a motor caravan but with a class 7 mot instead of class 4 mot.!
