She is a beauty your van .
That sky looks ominous .
Loving the granddaughters pout! Bet she can twist her Grandpops round her little finger!

On and off for many years.
She is gorgeous.

Our 3 year old Grandson is so strong willed...... sat on the naughty seat for 2 hours one day last week because he wouldn't say "sorry". He did when Grandma and Grandad had chocolate and he couldn't have any though :)

After a peaceful night, we decided to stay another night at the free Aire in the grounds of Braganca Castle

This morning we headed up the hill to the castle and the small walled village which dates back to medieval times.

We'd hoped to return to the restaurant we went to yesterday, but being Thursday it was closed

So we found solice and sustenance in Tripadvisors number 2 restaurant - and did we have a feast ??!!??

I chose Hare with rice (family sized portion)

image.jpeg

Mrs C chose Veal steak (speciality of the house, and enough to fed us both)
Crispy and charred on the outside, juicy and rare on the inside.

We shared a BOTTLE of red wine and a large bottle of water.

Only allowed to post 10 pics, so you'll have to imagine what the home made cheesecake looked like, and the two glades if port which helped wash it down.

Can you guess the bill?
Please play nicely

It was rustic food but the interior was modern (air conditioned) 'chic' with two cotton table cloths and V&B tableware

Its like the daily quiz, I want to change my guess based on further information received, however if I do I will probably be wrong......decisions, decisions......

I love cheesecake.

I don't really eat sweets but if I see cheesecake on the menu that's it.

Lemon curd has a similar effect.

Sometimes I give 'sneaky' clues too

The question in hand was
'Guess the bill?'

Not
'please tell us your favourite deserts'

I love cheesecake and the one in RC pic looks lush.
But what if there is cheesecake and creme brulee on the menu?

I don't like Creme brûlée - its foreign muck.
