Want to get a 16 gb one for my phone but baffled with class 4 class 6 cards.

Whats the difference between classes please?

Basically the bigger the number the faster the card. See Here.

It is the speed rating they will guarantee. More often than not the cards of decent brands actually outperform their rating.

Many class 2 cards run at class 4, and class 4 at class 6.
