hi all,

I wanted to say hello to everyone as back at it again. I joined a year ago when looking to buy but had to move house instead due to work location chainging. But I am now settled in new house and keen to get my first motor home.

I have been researching loads and narrowed my choice down to the following
Hymer
Mercedes
A class
Rear lounge u shape
So I think this will be an S630 or S700 (looking at pre 2000)

Any advice or experiences on these motorhomes would be greatly appreciated.

I now live north of Oxford and will mainly be travelling solo with my dog.
Although sometimes with friends or family. I am keen to try some rallies to meet people but also experience some wild camping.

See you in the forums,

Marcus

Hi Marcus, no experience but you should get a quality van with that spec, our Niesmann+Bischoff if part of the Hymer group and I would say is very well built.

If you are really new to motorhomes, going on a rally with other like minded people would be a good place to start. Someone to chat with and advice by the bucketfull if you want it.

Hi Marcus, remember, you can have the best made van in the world but if the layout is wrong you'll hate it. Take your time and choose wisely. Welcome back (y)
