San Sabastion to St Malo (1 Viewer)

Having to drive from San Sabastion to St Malo because Brittany Ferries have cancelled our sailing from Santander next Wednesday!
Could anyone recommend overnight stops on route to St Malo? either campsites or aires.
Intending to take about 4 days to get to St Malo.

sorry I cannot help with stops on the way. This is the second cancellation recently of the Galicia, did they say why it had been cancelled.

They cancelled ours in Jan as well which caused us a whole heap of issues, seems the new boat is proving to be very unreliable as i have a heard a few more also were cancelled in Jan as well.

I stayed at Gastes camping car park near the Marina last year, nice view across the lake, bar/restaurant 100 mtrs away, shop a little further, services, but no EHU.

You might like to check out the Il de Ré also, i stayed at the municipal campsite at St Martin, there is an aire next door as well, it's a Medieval walled town, excellent seafood, good for cycling and there's a ruined abbey as well.
