The food on The Salamanca on our September 22 crossings was nothing short of appalling ,prison catering at best .
The crew were visibly embarrassed and one girl was in tears at the flood of complaints from everyone , inability to recruit was the reason /excuse proffered
We ate in the private lounge as the food in the public areas was so bad .

pont aven booked (y)(y)
Two months back booked the Restaurant it used to be very good, they had the usual starter buffet that has shrunk considerably and the actual menu had three choices one of which was vegetarian ,one a Rissotto and a fish dish no meat or poultry, we decided not to bother even though we were seated.
The only other choice is the Cafeteria we’re we had a Beef Bourguignon which was very good and a fabulous dessert along with a bottle of wine at half the price of the restaurant.

MH newbie but we owned a caravan previously.
Salamanca last June. Lovely service and excellent food. Obviously things could well be different now.
