Does anybody know of a safe overnight parking spot after coming off the ferry at Poole ,the ferry comes in late and I don't want to be driving late at night.

You always used to be able to park at Baiter Park, but that was many years ago. I will quickly check and get back to you.

No, it has changed. No overnight parking. Sorry, will rack my brains for another idea.

I don't know which route you need to be on driving to Wales but the main road that hoes from Poole to Ringwood has lots of lay-bys. Bit noisy though.

I work near to Poole, the problem is that Poole suffers quite badly from persons of the travelling persuasion, and thus, there is almost nowhere that allows overnight parking.
If you get a little further inland there will be a few spots to park up overnight. So far everywhere I have thought of has restrictions on overnighting. But I will keep thinking.

Your best bet would probably be to 'drive' from the ferry on Google Street View. Is this location any good? 50.714976,-1.998806

When we docked at Poole last year, we parked in the docks, next to the cafe. There were showers and toilet facilities. £10 payable to the cafe. If you ask as you come off the boat, they should direct you.
