The silvering has gone on one of my clear foglights. Happy to buy two new ones but wonder if anyone has fitted better quality ones other than Hella. Might juts get out and get under and take out the tired one and do some on line comparing . Morimoto make a good range but dont want to change much to fit new ones.

How long have these lasted? Not defending Hella but the ones on mine are still good 13 years on

Now the headlights , now that’s a different problem 🤔

But fog lights I would buy same again if needed, in my case mostly due to the KISS principles 😁👍

Yes it may be best just to go with Hella. Have already replaced the headlights and what a job that was.
The london taxi fog lights look correct but if they fit a 1995 S520 I do bot know. Even the other listing has them at 1998 on.
As for the aging merits of a Hymer. I live right on the Pacific Ocean and MANY Renaults Citroen . MB and Toyota have rusted away yet the Hymer soldiers on.

This the taxi one in position on my 2001 Hymer

Yes saw those taxi ones and indeed in your Hymer they look just fine. However a lot of UK sellers will not mail out of UK. I see others for 41 quid each but agian same problem. Are your postmen on strike? No matter i have until next WARRANT OF FITNESS to get the problem sorted. That is why if i can find a good quality foglight of another make that would fit i would consider it. Will only do that IF the finished job is BETTER than the 1995 version.

Tempting but found these https://www.ntestbakery.com/hymer-f...006-b524575644680bc655-a-b-class-p-276824.htm
They appeared to be in UK and offered FREE SHIPPING. Smelt a rat and sure enough they are on the way from China. Be interesting to see the quality. Had to buy 2 to get the free shipping however. All good fun and thanks to all for the suggestions. At least i will have a spare if they are junk!!!!

And you were right. No shipping to NZ but after a repack from Devon they arrived. Cleaned up the rusty brackets then after dropping the front bumper found they werent needed. hymer just screwed them to a metal plate and adjusting screw just pivots the rubber washers. Not very German. However it solved the WOF failure and we are off again. May source some spare tail lenses. Any idea where I can get them. THIS OLD HYMER IS BRITTLE. So am i . That is a big bumper to drop down and replace.

Glad you got fog lights sorted.
I have found these on eBay , they look right.

I’ve also found these on Amazon NZ, these are caravan version (triangle reflector) but I’m sure you could find Motorhome version
Amazon product ASIN B002BW0KMS
