This is the required adaptor:I'm perhaps answering a little late as you're probably already either on your way or actually in Ireland. But I guess my limited answer could help others travelling from the UK or Northern Ireland. I'm from North Ireland and use propane, I normally leave with a full 11kg and a backup 4kg. I'd been away about 18 days when my 11kg ran out, so I switched over to the 4kg but started straight away to look for a replacement for my 11kg. I was in County Clare when this happened, each place I tried had the same size cylinders but the thread although the correct gender was a lot smaller than the UK size. I was lucky to find a supplier with a 4kg UK bottle which I was able to swap my UK bottle for. This supplier was well clued in and said he normally has a brass adapter for sale which would allow anyone to just buy the Irish cylinder and use it. As I said I'm from Northern Ireland so the gas empties would just be returned to the main depot and recycled to the region they belong in. I'm not sure what would happen if an Irish calor cylinder ended up back on the mainland.
I'm sure there are other motorhomers on here with other experiences.
Yes it’s definitely the correct 21.8lh to POL adaptor. Is this definitely correct, the item listing mentions refillable, the cylinders I have are just regular filled cylinders.
