Ryan air will soon be starting test on reversing in mid air. Wat do u think can it be done?

A spokesman for Ryan air says it's all in the rudder and throttle movements...... In my case it would be bowel movements....:Eeek:

No reversing
Where did you hear about this? Is their a link so we can see what it is about. Aircraft can apply reverse thrust, they use it on landing to slow down, but I can't see why they would do it in flight. The deflectors would be ripped off I think. To slow down in flight they use air brakes.
