Roads Bordeaux to lourdes (1 Viewer)

On the beautiful Ile de Re at mo. Weather turned so leaving for Carcassonne a day early. Thinking of detour to lourdes. Hate roads with drops/narrow winding. Anyone travelled above route who can let me know road conditions pls ? Thanx

Big open roads, no drops or narrow winding ! Lourdes is at the foot of the Pyrenees, so no big climbs either.. Enjoy

At the risk of mixing my religions, Lourdes is a Mecca for religious tat, Baby Jesus 'fridge magnets, that sort of thing. Stalls and stalls of the stuff. An amazing sight.

We were at Lourdes a few weeks ago (bit of info on the blog)

It's basic, but you can walk into the town in about 20 mins.
