RMSL 8501 Fridge

Now you have ordered the front panel control I would try that. Before you redort to pulling out the fridge, which is a big job.
You can always sell it on if it doesn't work for you.
Have you had a go at cleaning up the contacts on any plugs ,joints you can find connected to the fridge.

I can’t access the rear of the fridge to clean up the contacts without pulling the fridge out plus which I find strange is……..

If I pull the fuse and leave it powered off for say 30 mins then put the fuse back the fridge works ok and if it has a Izzy fit after a while it plays up.

Ive contacted Dometic they have a mobile service centre 30 mins away so I’ll see if they reply with a suggestion or a permanent fix.

For now just purchased the following, well purchased two why no idea, if anyone wants a brand new cooler box they can have it for what I paid £395.00.

That picture is of the top half of your fridge, all the gubbins that was shown in the pic Hetties Crew posted should be below that. Looks like you'll have to pull it out to check ?
Yes the pic of mine is the bottom vent, the top vent is just that a vent the gubbins is between both vents which means pulling the fridge out.

Again tonight we pulled the fuse and put it back in after a while and the bloody things been running without issues for over 7hrs.

Work that out.

And now it’s totally off.

Its a pain in the ass.

I’ve booked a Dometic engineer to come and have a look at it.

No point in me guessing and buying parts that don’t need changing.

Dometic engineers came, changed front panel and cost me £147.00 all in.
I think that was good value ,the panels are probably as much as you paid for someone to fit it.
Did they check anything else whilst they were there?
