It will be the only electrical connection to the gearbox and will be near to the point of entry of the selector cables - probably to one side and just below. Shorting it out with the ignition on will check whether it causes the fault.

Got to fix mine when I can be bothered to crawl under the motorhome, mines on a Ford Tranny and doesn’t work till the engine warms up so I am assuming it’s a sticky switch.

Andy, mines rear wheel drive as well, is it easy to get to?
Dave.
I believe it was dave . Can't really remember doing the job ... but I think the first switch I got was the wrong one...
Ended up going to ford to get the right switch..
If I get a chance tomorrow I'll photograph the switch it and send it to you..
Andy.

@daveandsan hi dave.. i didn' forget lol.... I've had a look..
If it' like mine the rev switch is on the left hand side of the box.. its right at the back and at the top.. as you lie looking up past the prop shafts to box flange you will see it.. the fuel tank limits the room available but it' still easy enough...
Good luck..
Andy.

@andy63 Thanks for that Andy, much appreciated. I think I may wait till the weather gets a bit warmer, getting a bit to old now to be lying on freezing cold floors. (y)
