Nope only do Newbury and having paid for my tickets now having to drop out of that. Being dragged to Thailand, daughter expecting another baby in August.

The reason I asked is that I have a dress which my Aunt wore for the coronation Lord Mayors banquet,after being in the coronation parade in London as a representative of the WRAF! I've tried it on and it fits and I've washed it carefully and,as we are Motorhomers due to an inheritance from her,I'd like to show my thanks to her

Uniforms are not generally worn at the Retro, very much in the minority unlike Twinwood.
We have a selection of 30's & 40's style clothes and 50's Rock N Roll gear.

Basicly wear what you like and feel comfortable in. You will feel much more relaxed dressed up than in normal clothes if a lot of people are dressed up. Always worth making the effort.

Saturday afternoon here a Newark, the sun is shining, breeze is breezing and here am I cocooned in the middle of other Funsters while the 60's music drifts on the wind.
Great show, plenty to see and buy( including a couple of Tractor units, ) what more could an old man want!
PS The two seater is old-mo's new wheels!

Parked in the exhibitors camping, and came across this combination which shows how much motorhomes have grown in the last few decades!

I remember Dads Bayfront Type 2 seeming a big vehicle on the road in the 70s but they also seem so small now…

we are here with the white 2CV Citroen, come and say Hello if we are sat with the car tomorrow
