I assume that it is a factory fit job, but the twin lens camera on the back isn't the best, especially the reversing camera. It has two distinct cameras and although not particularly old, I am aware that technology marches at a pace. Would an option to be replace the whole camera, the single reversing camera or best just to make do and adjust what we have?? Many thanks.

If it is in a custom housing, could you take a picture of the camera, I'm sure we'll be able to source a replacement for you. If it is just surface mounted, this is good one

I think it is a manufacturer (Pilote) fitted camera and screen in the cab.

The rear view mirror one is not too bad but the one pointing down only shows the back of the MH to about 3 feet out I'm guessing. It does not help with reversing, although, if there was a tow hitch it might be useful!

You could adjust the downward facing camera to face in same direction as rear view it’s a simple job to do?😊

That is plan A! But it was not great during a night drive.

That looks exactly the same as the waeco camera we used to have on our Motorhome.

What exactly is the fault your trying to fix ?

Assuming it is a waeco one, then you will probably not be able to connect other types of camera directly into the existing wiring as it uses a weird system of running the video signals down one cable pair. Odds are that you have a waeco monitor as well which makes it even more tricky.

Could you take a pic of your monitor and post it ?

If you look closely at the display you can just about see the two stones with one being on the green line. The second picture shows how far that is from the back of the MH.

As Speve suggests, you can adjust the cameras easily enough. I have a newer version on the back of my Bailey but should in essence be similar to adjust since they cannot be adjusted independently. The reverse camera is a wide angle unit of some 140 degrees whereas the rear view unit is around 40-50 degrees. So loosening the bolts and swivelling up the cameras will have a greater impact on the reverse camera than it will on the rear view- I.e the difference in rear view will hardly be noticeable but you will be able to see more than 18” behind the bumper in reverse.
If not satisfied and you are going to change cameras, have a word with these guys. I used them for adaptors to fit cheap cameras to a Waeco head unit on our horsebox. Dead helpful.

Have you thought about reversing sensors? I depend on those much more than the camera.
They also protect either side that the camera can't see.
