Whenever I wax my van I invariably get some wax on the plastic bits, bumper etc, and it looks a mess. What's the best way to remove it?

isopropyl alcohol on a cloth (otherwise known as IPA or rubbing alcohol) will remove the wax and not damage the plastic or vinyl decals.
