Removing strip ceiling light cover

Is this a frosted cover with a switch at one end? If so you pinch it in carefully, four little feet 2 each side take it slowly and tube is revealed.

if you are stripping it down to convert to LEDs, be careful as you remove the guts, as it is a mini inverter and can give a good shock at 220v

Not the one I was thinking of, however I think it is attached much the same. Maybe the lugs are on the softer plastic base? Use a good torch to identify the fixing points. Horizontal photo shows a darker patch midway along the side perhaps just one point each side, gentle pressure under the diffuser on the base may release it?
