Remote shut off valve?

Hi has anyone had the remote shut off valve fail on a gas it tank. I had one fitted about two years ago and although I can hear the solenoid click the gas keeps flowing?

That’s unusual as they normally fail shut as they are designed to do for safety.
We don’t fit or supply tank mounted solenoid valves as we have seen too many fail over the years
