Well it does for me.

Forum icon on my Google front page, with red dot Alerts un-read. Read the alert and the red dot is gone from the icon,

I will take a screenshot next time. It's the 3rd time I see it. I click on google search, google opens and I have all the logos of the usual page I open. So Mohofun is also on, and I have found 3 times a red spot on it. And no notification of anykind. So ???? I wonder...

yodeli I would advise you to duck or stay low, The Red Dot was from laser gun sights aimed at Macron.
Who knows who is aiming the gun, as he seems to have enemies from every direction these days.

If you are just getting the red dot on your bookmark for MHF yodeli then I think it is because you bookmarked it when there was a notification there.

You can see from my screenshot below that my bookmark to MHF has a red dot (which is now always there) but my live window does not, as I have read all my notifications.

I think you are right.
I've seen I had 2 notifications, so closed MHfun window. Then opened it again, and no red spot. Did it again, and here it was. So opened another google page without shutting the one where there was no more notification as I had read them, and the red spot was still on.

Yes I get this. Only on google on my pc, not on my ipad on safari
