Hi all. Coming from cornwall to do wales. Don't want to use expensive sites. Please can anyone advise
Regardsp

Have a look at Britstops?
There are lots of Campsite guides on Google as well.
Its a tough question to answer as one persons view of expensive is another person's view of cheap!

If you are a member of the Caravanning and Camping Club volunteers run Temporary Holiday sites which are very affordable all over the uk, might be worth a look.

Download the app Search for sites, it's £5.99 per annum and worth every penny! I can't stop playing with it planning all kinds of trips!

We're in the Caravan and Motorhome Club, we use their CLs. Cheap, cheerful but the downside is they are often in the middle of nowhere!

We’ve found over the years on our way to Portsmouth and back to Yorkshire that most pubs, or cafes, we’ve even stayed in an hotel car park, let us park up overnight a meal or sandwich and drink. No worries

there are loads of great placed CL's in Wales from £6 upwards.... depends where and what you want

Thk you Phill hoping to travel for 5 weeks. Looking for specific sites that are reasonable. Travelling alone with my dog. Not sure would feel safe on brit stop sites.

Got 5 weeks so hope can do most of wales. Travelling alone apart from my dog so nit sure brit stops are for me. Got electric bike so can travel up to 40 miles

There is a nice site near Crickhowell.

Two fields of grass pitches, many with water and EHU, small toilet block with facilities.

Under £20 a night. 200 metres to a good pub with food.

I also know a 'site' near Brecon. It lists itself as a Wild Camping spot. Drive up, pitch up in a grass field or amongst the copse of trees. No facilities save two Portaloos that I wouldn't go near and a hose pipe in the next field that has no fittings.

The farmer comes around at about 5pm and collects £5 for me and my van. He also sells you a fire pit and wood supplies if you want a campfire.

PM for details.

I also have a couple of total Freedom Camping spots in the Brecon Beacons National Park. No facilities at all.

i will try and cobble together a few CL or small sites and let you know a bit later. we have a dog so always consider him wherever we go.
