Does anyone else use a rechargeable TV? I bought one recently and have found it to be a great idea, especially useful when oof grid.
Would recommend.

Isn’t that a laptop?

Apparently Cello do one that lasts around 8 hours then you need mains electric to recharge the battery, can’t see the point when you can run a 12 v one from the leisure battery.

I have a very old Sovos 7" tv

Runs on 12v and has an internal rechargeable battery

Also records to USB - pause live tv

The motorhome leisure battery is big, and very good at supplying things so a rechargeable TV is not needed because it's always in the van near the battery. A rechargeable phone is good though so you can take it out with you ??

Just a thought but all MoHo TV’s that run off the leisure battery are rechargeable therefore are quite common. However if the OP is asking about TV’s that have their own internal rechargeable batteries that is another question ?

I use one of these tiny rechargable TV`s to set up sat dishes and CCTV cameras. They cost around 40pounds and has a 3000mAh lithium battery which lasts around 4hour. Compact

Good luck

Though for a minute that this should have been posted three weeks back....April 1st...

We had a look at the rechargeable model when buying our new TV but felt it wasn't worth the extra cost (c£80) when you could just connect it to the leisure battery power.

Now use one of these below.
18.5AH has 12v out and USB 2.1A Will supply up to 15A via 12v and recharges off 12v and mains
So we leave it charging via solar during the day

We have a laptop style TV/DVD/etc which takes multiform TV systems. Been in use for at least 12 years, DVD packed up and is in theory rechargeable but the battery packed up long ago so runs off the mains charger, no idea of make.

I don't see the point as it will take more power to recharge it than run off 12v.

You do know you are allowed to watch tv away from your motorhome? Well I think it's still legal?

To be honest, when I bought the Sovos, I wanted something that was small & ran off 12v - the fact it also had an internal battery was irrelevant

At the time, tablets were not the devices they are today & I didn't want to lug my laptop everywhere, which needed a 'tv stick' plugged into it
