Morning all,

I am looking for a rear double seat for my children to have a seat in the rear of our conversion.

Any where I can get a style like you get in a factory made campervan. All the ones I’ve seen They look really low and unsafe

Does it need to convert to a bed?

In which case any of the campervan seat beds should work.

"Rock and roll" bed (generic term)

Reimo

Plenty of options if you search for campervan seating.

My first van had the front double seat moved to the back to make a rear dinette. It was horribly made and not at all safe... but that's not my point...

The cab is raised quite a lot above the hab area behind, probably 10cm? If you're intending on having spinny seats and a dinette, you also have to raise the height of the floor for the dinette. All professional conversions do this. My van didn't have this, they just added raised bases to the rear seats to compensate. It was like being on a bar stool and was very uncomfortable to have your feet dangling after a short period.
