Rear camera/parking sensors or non ?

My MH had twin camera factory fitted. If I had been offered them at the time as an extra I don't think I would have bothered.

How wrong was I? They give you such a confidence boost and will show you things that you may hit if you only had parking sensors.

No camera or sensers on my 7.5 metre truck, also no rear window. I use the side mirrors and if in doubt I stop get out and check behind me. Not had any problems yet and parked in some fairly tight spots.

I found a far bigger problem was seeing to the left when pulling out of some junctions, after a few hairy moments have learnt how to position truck now.

Excellent piece of kit, had ours for two years +. :thumb:

Friend had the same (exactly) unit supplied by some 'uk outfit' (can't remember name) for £179....

claim they are 'night vision' well that would be night vision without IR which is 'no vision' unless there is some other form of illumination present !
