Hi can any one tell me what the ground clearance is on the rear over hang and any faults on 2005rapido 7099f

Do you need this to avoid grounding the rear, if so my rear tow bar did the job keeping rear of the ground.
If not skid wheels fitted as recommended for ferry boarding.

Set of roll-off wheels for mounting on chassis or chassis extension. The set consists of two wheels with mounting material suitable for most motorhome chassis.
The sets can be placed on the side of the chassis extension as well as at the bottom or rear. It is often necessary to drill holes in the chassis extension for mounting these sets. It is best to mount these chassis protection wheels as far as possible at the rear of the motorhome.

Available from Memo Europe

Air suspension may assist but fitting a Tow Bar this does the job.

Thanks for reply as I’ve not seen the van yet due to corona any faults you now off on 7099f

We had the same problem with my previous Dethleffs which has a large rear overhang. I had to go very slowly when reversing down any slope onto a level road. After damage, I had Air Suspension fitted which cost less than the damage I got going up a steep hairpin road. Never had a problem after that with much improved ground clearance.
