I'm new to Motor Homes and bought a 2011 Rapido 9090df about a month ago. 2 days ago the lock mechanism stopped locking on both the hab door and the cab door; it will not lock with either remote nor from the dash switch. The alarm does arm and indicators flash.
If I manually lock the hab door, it will unlock with the remote.
1. Thoughts please anybody?
2. Has anyone got a schematic of the lock circuit?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome!

I wonder if a fuse controlling central locking might have gone?

Check the wires that go into hab door.Mine had a broken wire.Managed to pull back the rubber cover and rejoined the wire.I intend to put new wire in next year as the wire that's there is very brittle.

that’s what happen to mine as well, with the constant opening of the door the wire gets very brittl.

This sounds like what happened to mine it seems to be a common problem. It was a fellow funster on here who repaired them. I will have a look for the thread.

Mine too. complicated by the fact that wires going in to the rubber sleeve were joined to different colours coming out!

Thanks all of you for responding, not had time to look yet, double glazing happening all week! However, it locked today; so long as the door open sign is lit on the dash, the lock won't actuate. I will be checking the wires and also the 'closed door contact (wherever it is just as soon as I can.
