I just aquired a Rapido 8094DF, and the hab step just "slides" out automatically horizontally, and doesnt"slide and drop down" like other vans Ive had.
the step up to the hab area is higher than my previous vans which I knew when i bought it but its a little too much for my good ladys little legs.

Does anyone have a similar problem, and what do you use, rather then throwing out a step stool.
Or is the purchase and fit of the other type of step that drops as it slides out an easy enough diy option.

TIA

Recently put cab door steps on my Rapido because of her short legs got complained at for spending money when shes got used to pulling the seatbelt strap. So ask her first.
Ps Swmbo is from Yorkshire so got away with it when i showed her it could have cost twice as much. I modified Vanpimps runners, i suspect with money and mechanical ability it would be possible to change steps , may be simple with the use of an adaptor plate. Our hab door is particulary low a Rapido Fiat special low chassis.
