Template for top fixing points knocked up from aluminium angle
Marked a pencil line across from side to side in line with the bottom of the curved panel.
Measured the centre and used the template to mark the holes for drilling.
Hung the rack on the top hangers and then centred the bottom brackets to mark for drilling.
Top tip!
To make sure the drilled holes are at 90 degrees to the wall use a block of wood with a 6mm hole made using a pillar drill.
Once you've drilled into the skin of the van STOP and put your drill bit through the wood into the hole and hold the wood tight to the van then proceed to drill right through.
All 8 of my fixings aligned perfectly with the internal plates.
