We have a Vodafone Sim in our phone which is currently allowing me to watch UK TV on the computer.

What would be the position if I took the same phone and Sim onto the Continent.
Would I still be able to watch UK TV.

Yes, been doing it in France, Spain and Portugal for the last two years.
There are apparently some limits on unlimited contracts and a fair usage policy but I personally have not had them enforced.

Yes you have a UK ip address so iPlayer etc will work as if you are in the UK as long as you are in an area receiving Vodafone es. As this is the only roaming provider allowed in Spain by Vodafone UK.

Thank you for your swift responses.

Vodafone is ok for us.

Works great for us too, no data usage policy if you have contract that is not unlimited, because unlimited becomes limited so to say....fair usage whilst roaming. We have a 100gb contract, haven't been able to use all the allowance in one month, but have had a good go....wintertime should be a good test....

Derek we have a Virgin 100gb sim only contract with a 50gb rollover and it’s been great in Spain for the last three winters. There was much talk about uk sims being capped so I gave it a test watching films on it and F1 on sky go and used 122gb before it refreshed.
Not sure what’s going to happen after 31/12/20 though 🤔

You might need a vpn so tv thinks you are in uk.
