So not sure if anybody knows this, but using the USB port on the Cello C22230F 22-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LED TV, can you play back video files stores on the stick.

I want to have a say 64gb USB stick with ,many MP4/MKV 1080p films / series on it. and Play back directly via the USB..

Anybody do this today?

Does the TV support FAT/FAT32 or NTFS on the USB stick?

So I'm now in a position to answer my own question..

First off I sent a question to Cello Support and got this answer;
With regards to your email, the memory stick will need to be formatted to FAT32 for the TV to read this then you will be able to play back the videos recorded.
So even though this did not really answer my question, but seemed the right direction I ordered the TV. It came today and I have done some testing that shows the following:
  • Supports 32gb & 64gb USB Memory sticks, did not have bigger memory sticks to test.
  • Supports a 1TB External HD formatted to NTFS (Likely FAT32 would work but I have films over 4gb)
  • Supports FAT32 and NTFS
  • Playback of MP4, MKV and AVI encoded files.
So all in all does what I needed and works a treat, simple interface to access USB.

Also viewing angle is pretty good more than enough for any Motorhome I think, sounds is a tad tinny BUT more that serviceable, and you could easily output to a small speaker is you wanted better sound.

More than toes wet now!
Same works for Aldi Medion TV \ DVD.
Use an NTFS 2Tb (and 1Tb) external HDD.
Also got a pair of USB driven speakers to improve the tinny sound.
