With so many people downsizing over the last five years, I thought how many funsters have pvc/campervans. So why not show us some photos of your panel-van/camper vans.
We downsized nearly six years ago,our 2013 Pilote F630 has done 28,000 miles.
We have had a few small problems, but most I have put right myself.
This van layout suits us with its twin single beds, half dinette and is easy driving especially around the narrow roads of Scotland and the Western Isles.

With so many people downsizing over the last five years......

.......including those who have downsized in the last 11-days Terry :xgrin:

We exchanged our Pilote P740GJ for a new Globecar Summit 640 and it has to be the best thing we've ever done.

It's also quite refreshing to own a van where its 'leak potential' is reduced to a bare minimum:xThumb:

The before and after shots:

We had a 6 berth Kontiki first, the old type which got us into MoHoming - then we had an Apache six berth 7.4m which was gorgeous. Now there’s just us two, our 2 staffies and we are now retired we thought we would try out a PVC - have to say that this is the way forward for us.
We would never go back to big ones now.
Here’s ours, an AutoSleeper Warwick XL. If,, we use a site for a few days we use a drive-away, great for the dogs and if we are going out in the van just slide the ‘joiner’ out and off we go.

Downsized last week! Herman the German was 6.7m (7.3 inc bike rack) and Herman Jr. is 6m!! We are now sorting through all the 'essential stuff' (y) that we have accumulated over the last 9 years and trying to find a space to put it! Needless to say, we have discovered that a lot of it was not 'essential'!

Andrew - our dogs may not even get a luggage allowance!!!

Bring on the narrow lanes!!

Her's my 'to be' PVC, with 100 miles on the clock. Outside looks nice, but it's not there on the inside yet. It's a Peugeot Boxer L3H2, bought new in 2017.

Can't wait!

We only downsized the width, from 2.3m to 2.05m. But we grew a bit longer, from a 5.99m coach-built Chausson to a Rapido V68 pvc which is 6.4m long!

Bought Rapido June 2016 and really like the twin beds, 135 litre fridge, and comfortmatic gearbox, not to mention the one-foot narrower profile!

Oops! Not sure what happened then, at the airport and struggling to delete surplus pics...

Always been fascinated by these pvc’s I bought my first Moho (coachbuilt) in June and we love it, however a pvc would be more useful (daily driver and parking at home) but Mrs westy wont do without the full cooker and oven..not to mention separate shower. anyway I digress, are these things warm enough to do the alps in winter? Are they as warm as the top German coachbuilt s?? And where do you put all the stuff (awnings, outside cadacs etc)??

WE have a full cooker and oven plus separate shower in our IH PVC. check out their website. Probably the best PVC on the market.

Hi Janine, I've just shown Nicky the pics (she loves them) and we're both chuffed that you bought the Grand Canyon.

I'll have a word with the Globecar High Council of Great Britain to see if we can make you an honoury member; after all, you were very close to buying one.

Very cool indeed - enjoy :xcool:

That would be an honour indeed! I could also act as a double agent in the Hymer camp - damn - I have just blown my cover!!! :mask::mask:
