many many years! since I was a kid
the has Bean sum very heavy ran and no damp
what will show any leaks is driving the van about and the roof flexing, then some rain. No reason for it to leak though the way the work has been done

I used a Europol flexible roofing coting on all the seems and joints john inside and out just waiting for another dry day to give it another coat then a white coat of extra paint

Today is cosmetic day fixing all the wall coverings that has had to be removed or has bean damaged during the renovation.
Will take bits of wall covering from places it wont be seen to make invisabil reapers welL as invisabil as can be made

On the last leg now just got one more bit around and above the cooker i have removed the old wall lining from the wall all the rotten wall bored i can get to
i will bond the new bored to the wall.
And and then cover with soume vinal wall covering salvaged from a the wall behind the one of the cupboards to make a fairly invisabil repair

that the roof done all the wall coverings done have to sort out a window leek a bit of rotten wood round the window.
two doors to sort out sum trim on a cobord and a good clean up of every thing.
sum mechanical bits and bob's job done

The camper has sold my son has decided to buy it.
he had one look fell in love and wants it i still have a few small jobs to do but he handed over the cash and is now the prude owner of a camper van

the next job will be from scratch @Gromett showed me a drat tool that will make construction of frames and unit so simpale

If you do decide to convert a panel van from scratch. My biggest word of advice is to rust treat and prevent before you start fitting out. Then install a vapour barrier. The last thing could have saved my sills.

If you do decide to convert a panel van from scratch. My biggest word of advice is to rust treat and prevent before you start fitting out. Then install a vapour barrier. The last thing could have saved my sills.
Would think this has all been done with an ambulance , it's fully lined and insulated, diesel heater and air conditioning in the back.

If he goes for an ambulance. My advice was in general with regards to panel vans. Knowing Bill, my guess is he won't be looking for one as recent as that as I think he prefers vans pre clever electronics and I don't blame him.

you might want to check behind the paneling i converted a patent transport ambulance it didn't have any insulation :(

You know bill, we have wondered, but it seems strange putting in heating and air con without it but we are going to get a panel off to check.
there not usual that well insulated and the gel coted lining can be coald to the touch we lined our van with cheep foam backed cord carpet stuck on with spray clue
it worked well and stuck like shxxx to a blanket

a fend of mine used to do the conversions at a company in goole i will ask him tomorrow
