For the last 2 years I have had a few bits and pieces stuck on with various double sided pads and tapes. After a time they all fall off, Ive used 3M and lots of other makes. Most surfaces I want to stick to are textured. Ive finally found a good strong, and I mean strong double sided tape.
Ive stuck a double 12v and double USB socket under my dash and other bits inside the van
Its so good I bought it in to resell via my ebay shop and at shows.

If anyone wants any to collect at shows I can offer a Funster discount.

Is this the Fixman stuff? How easy is it to remove if needs be?

If it's anything like the 3M i used for christmas decoratons you will need to replaster the wall :ROFLMAO:

I think you would if applied to paint or plaster. It is really strong.

I hate seeing screw tops and screw covers, so when I re-furbed the inside of our last PVC a good proportion of it was stuck together with Ever Build Power Grip tape. Sticks like the preverbal poo to a blanket. I'm using this to stick the insulation to our fresh and grey tanks as well.

Will you take the 10 roles of sh*tty double sided tape I’ve got in px Jez:D(y)

The tape is described as "hot-melt" do I have to use a hot air gun on it ?

No but if you heat it when applying is does make it stickier. Like most adhesives it will also need a clean grease and silicone free surface to adhere to

How will this 'hot melt' sticky tape cope with extreme summer temperatures? Every other glue fixing method that I have tried does just that, it melts and things fall off.

Cant say yet, however I have had a USB 12v socket stuck under my dash for quite a time now.
I would think that if its a tiny item stuck with a tiny amount or tape it may have issues but a good sized piece of tape should be ok. I will stick something together and leave outside in the sun when I get time and will report back.
