Off to France on 18th so did some prep on the van.
Here is my usual pre-trip checklist:

1. Bang head (twice) on mirrors after checking front tyre pressures-tick

2. Skin knuckle getting hook up cable back into tiny, sole, outside cupboard-tick

3. Scrape arms putting chairs in under-bed storage-tick

4. Get oil on my shirt after checking oil level on whippy, bendy dipstick-tick

5. Bruise thigh on interior waste bin-tick

6. Spend time looking for missing van key and finding it, 40 minutes later, in tiny, sole, outside cupboard lock-tick

Who'd believe us that this is such fun? :giggle:

My favourite is No. 6 which I like to do every time. But I usually find the key in a stupid place after about an hour ?

Batteries for ebikes - check

I always check tyre pressures. Two days before leaving for Spain a little voice in my head was telling me 'its a brand new van, no need'. Still checked them to find rear tyre had a puncture. Repaired in time.

Snap! Always put on PPE (beany hat knitted by SWMBO) to check tyre pressures.

I also get grazed knuckles and am still baffled about where that must be happening.

Could it be from your knuckles dragging on the floor?:giggle:

Does anyone else keep keys on a string around neck, and still forget where they are?

Never mind keys; I have a label pinned to my ear with my address on it with a request and reward offered that, if I'm found, wandering aimlessly to either return me (for the smaller reward) or not to return me (with the larger reward).
