Hi i have bought myself a glomex discovery s460s satellite system as a xmas treat,
to power it up i was wondering if i could tap into the 12v feed from the control box that goes to the battery from the solar panel or do i need to run a new feed to the battery ?
as the feed is runing to the battery would it harm the satellite system if i connected it to this ?
Thanks Chris

If you tap off BEFORE the battery then what happens at night ??? You have no power.... :xwink:

Yes you can connect to the battery output of the regulator, the voltage is the same as the battery terminals all the time.

I would just ensure there is a fuse in the feed to the satellite system. About 5A should suffice but see what the destructions suggest.
