Been out of the U.K. for 4 months nearly, mostly Portugal.
Which weather site do I keep an eye on to find out when it’s good road conditions to travel back , to travel out of Santander?
I’ll be going to Salamanca again then towards Santander . Any idea of other places to go en route as I’ve not sailed out of Santander before:eek:

Another vote for eltiempo.es above.

Bear in mind there is some very high ground around Burgos, Vittoria Gastiez etc. Having said that there is an interesting aire in the centre of Vittoria which we stayed on once. Remember it will be a lot colder than southern Spain

Most of central Spain is high, hence the colder temps and snow. We had .5 at Haro in late November.

Now had a change of plan and going back down to the warmer part of the algarve with a friend who’s going to share the petrol costs with me instead of going by train.
If I’m near tavira what would be a good route back to Santander.
I will be parking outside a friends house so no camping costs.

Good aire at Caceres and if you are interested in Roman ruins, Merida a bit before Caceres is superb.
