portimao aire

any info on the large aire at portimao marina, we left there on the 26 oct 14 with all sorts of rumours, re change of owners/managment and closing down . we have decided to go back again this year, so will it still be there ?. its one of the many places we stay, its not the best aire and its possible got the worst borne/dump in portugal, but its very well located and you know you will always get on. assuming its still open.

Open and the dump has a water supply now... still whiffy but amazingly some folk park up right by it!

Bar bus has gone and been replaced with a bar tent. I haven't used it because of the smoking.

Now has toilets (free) and showers (€1) in a porta cabin behind the bar tent.

wow toilets, the bar bus dissapeared when we were down, is it still 2.50 euro a night though,feel a price hike coming on, thanks for info.

we left on 8th having some new drainage work done at back of site, so all had to move about a bit but still plenty room, also has electric in some area's and more being put in, so looks good,
