I was having a look and the outgoing 8.30 am crossing restarts on 31st August and the nice return evening crossing at 18.15 getting in at 21.45 restarts the same day. Just trying to decide if we might be brave enough. Darling daughter went back to Bangladesh today. Youngest will be heading back to Uni in Newcastle at the beginning of September so it will be weird, house and garden has gone back to being young persons meeting place recently which I love.

I booked several weeks ago when they first made it available. It was a struggle to get a booking early in September then and may be almost impossible now.

We're considering a hop over to Brittany in September, missing the seafood! We'll go from Plymouth but if Poole is more convenient then go for it. :)

There was availability this morning going out the first week in September everyday and coming back the week of 23rd September (couple of days either side) entering a 6.5 m PVC with a bike rack from £200 each way depending on the day and ticket.
We’re only an hour from Poole so that’s why we like it!

Karen (Work colleague) had her 1st September crossing, booked last year, cancelled last week by Brittany Ferries.

How odd, I won’t go building my hopes up then. Thanks for the warning. We are still dithering. I am very risk averse where health is concerned, might be something to do with being a retired GP, I think it sends you to one extreme or the other. I have no underlying health issues but Nick has been on antihypertensive medication for years. U.K. is lovely in September anyway !
