Pippa

Pip is growing into a real character. She is quite a comedian, she loves to find a Fir cone and then throws it in the air. She uses her front feet a lot usually for catching.
Pip has gone from being frightened of water to not being able to resist it, she will go into shallow water now but still won’t swim.
At present we are touring round Brittany and she is handling the travelling well, she prefers the smoother dual carriageways to the rough bouncy side & village roads but then don’t we all!
Saw her first Coypu this morning in the lake, wasn’t bothered really. Still wants to meet a cat but that is almost impossible! Ok with most animals now and mostly ignores sheep when close to the field fence.
Getting towards a year old now!

Pippa having fun in the crop on a walk from the Swaffham Bash ( not best quality as it was converted off a Live Photo )

Pippa is a killer.
She found a baby bunny, was too far away to do anything about it but could see her throwing something up in the air then shaking it, I hoped it was a Rat but it turned out to be a tiny Rabbit!
It was stone dead by the time I got there, thank goodness as I really didn’t relish finishing it off.
So at one year old she is definitely a Terrier, I did wonder if she might not follow her instincts but a Terrier is a Terrier!

Our JRTs (Jac & Russell…. ;) ) would often find rabbits with Myxomatosis on the Downs above Eastbourne - hated to see the way they (the rabbits) were suffering - but the dogs soon put an end to them. A kindness, perhaps?:(

We had a Terrier cross a few years ago. She used to shake her toys until they fell apart or shred them into tiny pieces.

We have give up on buying any chew things for our 2 Jacks as they destroy them, the dental sticks that are supposed to clean their teeth last a couple of minutes😂😂

Daughter has a Collie with loads of toys and when she visits she goes back with a few well chewed ones😁😁

Some videos of Pippa doing her favourite thing of jumping in grass(I had filmed in slow motion but annoyingly when uploaded to YouTube)

We don't buy ours 'new' toys, they get stuff from car boot sales etc as Bella can 'kill' one in about 10 seconds! Her favourite 'game' is to bite any appendage off she can then stick her pointy snozzle in the hole and pull all the stuffing out!

Pippa still has toys she had as a puppy, used to chew ears off (the toys🙂) but not anymore

Anybody seen my ball, I suppose I shouldn’t have put it down this rabbit hole
( This was Pippa yesterday, when will she learn not to put ball down rabbit hole , probably third ball gone🙁)
