Well the town seems to be sophisticated enough to have a few nice looking hotels - adult only too. get's my vote.

I need to scale everything,but it should be,if need,I can extend the land,I take the place on the 12th September,but not vacating here till early Oct,so will be back and forth

Pinoso 'aint Beni' by a long shot BUT you can make your own good company if the mood is right.

A bit intrigued why the move from the coast to inland but don't know the OP well enough to ask ???

There is a difference between visiting here and living here,I've done the benidorm bit,put my time in(although around 2 years of it,I have no idea what I did,but others will tell you) now it's time to chill ,and I'm just over a hr from the coast,and on Spanish roads np,

For me, I know where I'd rather be but am always intrigued by the "coast huggers" suddenly going inland.

I rarely go into benidorm to socialize,here in altea,it's nice,but time to rest,small comunicom,nice fuesta on my doorstep without the commercial side

We're not "Benidorm" people so actually prefer quieter places. Not criticising those who do mind, everyone to their own tastes (and yes, we have tried it).
