Thanks to all for the advice ive picked up on here over a long time (y) ive gone and purchased my first proper motor home.
Its an oldish Hymer starline b680.
Im excited and nervous at the same time:).
I spent a few hours looking over it and everything works solid underneath and couldn't see or smell any sign of damp.
Took it on long test drive and drives perfect. Hpi checked it, all clear .
The couple who are selling are lovely they bought it on impulse a year ago have used it and decided a caravan is what they really wanted.
Think ive covered all of the bases . Its not perfect a few scuffs etc nothing major , gives me something to do :).
Im ok with the base vehicle but would have been lost with everything else if it wasn't for the advice and knowledge ive picked up from this great place.

Thank you all and wish me luck .

    Steve (y)

Good luck Steve, sounds like a good van, but more importantly it's yours.

    Enjoy.

Very good work on your part...
I noticed it come up for sale a few days ago, 680 starline, newer 2.7engine, good condition and bargain price - was always going to sell quickly.
You've got to move fast for a van like that - well done (y)
