Does anyone know how to get the bottom hose off the radiator? It's got 2 spring steel clips on either side that press in, I've tried pressing them in (which is quite easy) and pulling it but it won't come off. Probably would help if I could get both hands on it mind. Am I doing it wrong?

Other option is to cut the stainless clip off the other end where it comes down to a fitting and replace with a jubilee clip after.

There is no drain point on the Peugeots unlike the Fiats ?

Picture would help?
Some circular clips need a special tool or faff with pliers and screwdriver to pinch, pull and release.
Have you actually taken the ring off?
There is often a ridge on the radiator port that this ring is essentially clinging to.

Best replaced with jubilee style afterwards.

It's not a pipe clip but a fitting with a spring steel clip in it..

I removed ours on a 2012/13 fiat 3 litre. Its a sod to get to.. My arm went up above the clip so my hand was coming from above the clip. Needed a bit of a wiggle n pull while clip is released.
Downside was unable to move once clip released so covered in antifreeze.
Yes i know fiats have a drain, but inaccessible on a hymer a class body.

So you press in the clips then?

About to change the antifreeze. Will order new hose clip as only way to dump seems to be pull off the lowest hose.
On refilling are there any bleed points? My previous citroen car had them, but a later suzuki didnt.
Or is it fill slowly, run engine and keep topping up.
Hoping someone has been here before....

Now done. Bottom hose on radiator pulls off if you squeeze the side bits, struggle to pull and antifreeze pours over me.....
Found a bleed valve high up on bulkhead where 2 water pipes go through to heater. But so high will need some heat/pressure in system to be effective.
As on an A class filling was done with watering can, caravan drain hose on spout, domestic overflow pipe bend taped on end to fit into header tank.

Thanks all, I'll have another go with the front wheel off and with it up on axle stands. Maybe I can get 2 hands on it then. If that fails I'll cut the crimped on jubilee thing off the other end, it's lower down there anyway.

Yes. Just push in. Easier if you push down, then press, and pull up, if that makes sense. You will feel once it has released.

You need to top up water system, leave off rad cap & open that bleed, having made sure heater control is on heat, then , with engine running ,you can increase the revs to bleed the air out. I changed my bleed screw for one with an allen screw head as it is easier to refit/remove/bleed.
