Well we have finally received our delayed new motorhome, 10 months after it was first expected. I felt I could now complete my review of Peter Roberts Caravans and Motorhomes.
From my very first contact with Andy Roberts in March 2021 I can honestly say the customer service has been second to none. He answered all manner of questions over the telephone and also went into the model of motorhome we wanted to check if our intended use was feasible in it. We were keen to use this company based on their reviews, even though it was around 80 miles away and meant passing our nearest Adria dealer and we have not been disappointed.
He assisted greatly with my preparation for a private sale, to achieve greater remuneration, and vetted my proposed advert and photographs to achieve best chances.
The sale went ahead immediately and we were then happy to order a new model. Despite the lengthy delays, due to the pandemic, Andy kept me informed throughout of what was happening and likely outcomes with arrival dates. They even pushed Adria for more information for their customers, I just wished Adria were as customer focused as this dealer was.
Once it arrived here we quickly sorted out all the additional requirements in person and received a very welcoming response from all the members of their team when discussing aerial, extra socket positions etc, which was reassuring. It felt like a real family affair.
Over the next 2 weeks we had more contact with other members of the company via the telephone and then at handover the sales team, after sales team and other technicians provided a great service. We spoke to many members of their team on that day and what shone through was each individual's commitment to ensuring our satisfaction, and we were very satisfied.
So 3 weeks in as the new owner and as you would expect there have been a few questions that I needed answering, none I might add were as a result of anything the dealer had control over, but I received excellent responses by telephone, email and postal service. Nothing seemed to much for them to do.
From our personal experience I can highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a new motorhome, caravan or pre loved ones. Yes it is early days but if the past is anything to go by I cannot see anything becoming a problem in receiving help, advice or assistance. Their premises are not overly large or fancy, especially compared to other dealers we have used over the past 10 years but neither are their service rates and they are open 7 days a week.
