Hi, we are booked on the shuttle on Monday 1620 but given that you must take a test no later than 24 hours prior to departure, how have people done this logistically? We wanted to set off Sunday lunchtime and have a leisurely drive down but as far as I can work out we need to do the test, send it off and get results all within 24 hours, am I correct?

Thanks Dave

We booked an appointment with our local Boots (£79ea). All done without fuss and the results confirmed next day by e-mail.

Asda at Ashford (near Designer Outlet Centre). Results in 15 minutes £34.90 - lateral flow test.

Further info ..............

Neither, I think it’s a lateral flow test that’s needed. Obviously not the free one. We are being well seen off over this testing lark. The paid for lateral flow test is exactly the same test as the free one, but nobody makes any money from the free one. I’ve said it before, it’s nothing whatsoever to do with safety, just money.

We should be on the 4:20 as well but we can travel down over the day.
We've booked into our local LLoyds pharmacy in the village for a morning test where we should have the results in 15 mins. They cost £30 each. Could you find a pharmacy near to where you stay on Sunday night and book in for the morning?
