Parts for a Trumatic C 6002

Hi,

We've had a part fail on our Trumatic C 6002 the Solenoid valve pipe has been sheered. I've checked with Truma and the part is discontinued, checked suppliers online and nobody has any stock.

Any ideas of what can be done - (already checking ebay for second hand boilers)

If its copper, slide a thinner copper pipe up the break and solder it in. Or Drill the broken piece wider and insert pipe and solder.

Yes think it's copper - a bit frightened of doing that on gas parts but wondering if it's possible or if anybody can help!
