Hi , we would like to go shopping in Nottingham and wondered if anyone has parked their
motorhome in a Nottingham Park and Ride.

Any help much appreciated.

Many thanks

If you head towards The Forest tram stop there is parking on the road along side the big park there. From there the tram takes you into town. You pay for your tram ticket at the tram stop. Don't forget or you get fined!

I wouldn’t park my motorhome in that area.:(.
Just near the Queens Drive Park and Ride there is a large retail park, B & Q etc with plenty of space. You could park the van there and walk across the road to the Park and Ride.

If you search the park and Ride site on Google Earthyou will see the retail'park, opposite.

Don't know where you are traveling from,Toton tram stop has large parking area.Does have height barrier but was told they would open them.
G**Po's seem to have no problems with them on a regular basis

When we were visiting my sister who lives in Nottingham ( forest fields ) we slept in the MH several nights at the spot beside the tram stop and never had a single problem , however we never left the MH unattended there during the day as it was parked on the road outside their house during the days, again it was fine there 100% of the time during the day.

Many thanks for all the replies to my question. It doesn’t seem as if we can Park and Ride because of the height barriers so have decided to look for a place to camp for 2 or 3 nights as we have several things to do in Nottingham.Just need to find somewhere with good public transport links.

One again thank you for replying to my question. Much appreciated.

Kind regards

Florencee

There is a campsite at Home Pierrpont, near West Bridgford, and is on the bus route to the city centre. I wouldn't park anything in Forest fields.

Craig

If it helps anyone, we went to Nottingham today and parked at Colwick P&R - racecourse. No barrier and £3 for 2 returns
