Park and ride Trumpington. Check the website. It tells you how to access with motorhomesCan any funsters advise on parking in Cambridge as I believe that the P&R are all height restricted.
I’ve just looked on todays website and it says yes to motorhomes ?The P&R web site confirms height restrictions at all sites now. I recall that Trumpington used to be accessible but there were several traveller incursiuons which cost the county council a lot of money. The current Trumpington page says nothing about motorhomes.
It may be worth contacting them or the City Council to ask for advice.
Which web site is that? Do you have the URL please?I’ve just looked on todays website and it says yes to motorhomes ?

I just typed in Cambridge park and ride and it shows Trumpington.Which web site is that? Do you have the URL please?
When I typed that it only came up with the official pages which make no mention of motorhomes.I just typed in Cambridge park and ride and it shows Trumpington.
Most councils tend to restrict coach parking to coaches only so it's always best to check before parking in coach spaces.Madingley Road has a coach area that may be suitable for motorhomes (£10)

This could be true. It still says drive down the slip road signed John Lewis. I just looked. Maybe a phone call to Cambridge tourist board might help. When I typed that it only came up with the official pages which make no mention of motorhomes.
Typing in "Cambridge park and ride motorhomes" comes up with pages from Search for Sites and a couple more but they appear to be out of date.
Phoning would be best. The numbers are on the pages referenced in my earlier postThis could be true. It still says drive down the slip road signed John Lewis. I just looked. Maybe a phone call to Cambridge tourist board might help.
Yes but it's quite a walk into the centre and the coach drivers don't take kindly to miss taking space on their free parking area.A603 Barton Road has a large layby used by coaches etc .... As an option.
This site is not council owned or run. Most councils tend to restrict coach parking to coaches only so it's always best to check before parking in coach spaces.
The P&R service is run by Cambridgeshire County Council and Stagecoach. This site is not council owned or run.
I think that Google Earth image is out of date. This is a screen shot from Google maps and depending on how up to date Google maps of this area is, but it shows an area of the Trumpington P&R with a dedicated parking area and one of the vans parked there looks more like a MH than a camper van.

Wouldn't recommend Cambridge Road, Histon. Restrictions now make it difficult and it's too far out of town. We used to live in that area. You can park, free, in street in Histon/Impington and get on the bus there.Timing restrictions for Bus passes at all
I am talking about station road by mace stores, where the guided bus stops it’s £4 into the city from there.Wouldn't recommend Cambridge Road, Histon. Restrictions now make it difficult and it's too far out of town. We used to live in that area.
I used Trumpington just before the Thetford bash , with no problems. You use the John Lewis entrance. There is an arm type barrier which is maned. You use the intercom to gain access. You can check this out with the Park & Ride website phone no, the attendant was extremely helpful.
