Is it one where you have to pay ??
That would explain the lack of French vans :D

Long enough
€18 for an Aire ?
Is this an April Fool prank ?
Unless it's got an indoor heated pool, live entertainment, bar and restaurant on site I think I'll go elsewhere - especially when they put up the price for high season.

How Much!
Don't care how good the facilities that I don't need are I wouldn't pay that much for an Aire (apart from Brugge).

Does explain why it's so packed.

I suppose if you convert it, it’s what? £12. The average price for a site here I think,, with all if not better facilities! I’d pay it, gladly, but I like the luxury of all the stuff !! Enjoy babe,,, have three showers! Lol x

Blimey, talk about incoming flak. We only wanted a nice stop near a beach. (n) Especially after having spent 3 nights at a motocross Grand Prix surrounded by obnoxious drunk Brit’s. So peaceful here.

I thought it looked lovely and can understand you choosing to stay in such a nice spot .

We are happy to pay to stay somewhere and like to park up in a mix of places some which charge and some which are free.

We all like different stuff when motorhoming, it’s always nice to see photos of possible spots to stay on future trips.

I love a free aire, in fact as I type this I am on one. (y)
But, compared with a UK site that isn’t a bad price.
I have no problem with paying for quality over tat.

Richard.
PS. We actually used a few miles of peage today.
Am I now ‘black balled’ from Fun?

Michelle - if that suits you then enjoy but it's not an Aire it's a campsite charging about £15.42 and restricting occupants to motorhomes. However still cheap by British prices.

In my view Aires are basic parking places for Motorhomes which are open to the local community and offering minimal facilities and charging nothing or very little.

Rod

PS If I were in your situation having visited an event site and needing good facilities for the following night then I would probably have stayed there as well!
