Anybody booked togo with P&O...?

🍻

I thought I would post the question because my gut feeling is many other companies are watching the outcome of this Hire&Fire policy.
!!!!
But didn't the government introduce a law shortly after this occurred meaning that anything docking in Uk waters had to be paying the minimum wage?

I wasn't aware of that 👍and I hope that other companies do not try to undermine T&C's as like P&O....🍻

We are booked to leave Hull at the end of the month. It was not through choice, DFDS were fully booked and booking was made before the controversy started.

Booked for a couple weeks time from a 2 year old rolled over booking. Hope there's a ferry actually sailing.

We’ve got a credit booking with them but didn’t want to risk booking and then get cancelled. So just booked Irish Ferries Dover to Calais. All being well we can use the P&O credit on the way back.

Booked up via an old carry-over voucher two weeks ago. Yesterday I get an E Mail saying my crossing has been amended to a later sailing which won't get me in to Calais until 5pm local which rather makes a mess of my meticulous onward journey planning. Presumably because they still can't get one of their ships cleared on its safety checks.

Most have already employed cheaper labour on the Ferries…….. P&O were playing catch up to a certain extent

It was the logical choice for us given the tandem was having a service in Gargrave. Decided we would give Stena a go from Harwich as it didn't seem right to give a company money given the attitude it is taking towards it's staff. I am not sitting in judgement here either! I was amazed at the price for the daytime sailing from Harwich to Rotterdam with a 8.0 m motorhome and 2 people - £75.00 via C&MC!!

The Pride of Rotterdam, flagged NL, has used Filipino crew for many years. I don’t think they have changed. I assume that’s why this ship was only docked at Europoort for a few days before continuing to run to Hull every other day. Sister ship, The Pride of Hull was affected By crew changes.
