Oyster satellite system shows x-Motor error

Set up on site earlier with grandkids on board and just activated the satellite dish on our Hymer for them to watch some TV. The dish opened and rotated but has locked with the control panel showing X-Motor error. Help please.

I had the same issue with ours about a month ago and got in touch with

Oyster Tech on 01858 575928.

They were helpful but advised that the motor was probably shot. It's booked in with them tomorrow.

We had this problem a little while back. If you call Anthony at Oyster Tech in the morning, he should be able to talk you through how to manually retract the satellite dish. If you book in a visit with him they will take a look at it and replace the motor if needed. Best of luck.

Sorry for the late reply. Had a family wedding this weekend so still a little delicate even now!

Not sure if you've got in contact with us directly yet but an X motor error in those circumstances is a little odd and would suggest a mechanical problem rather than the actual motor or electronics.
My advice would be to contact us directly and we can discuss the problem in more detail but I would assume that this is mostly like going to require a visit. If that's the case then we can make an appointment for you to come and see us.
